René Walkenhorst has many years of experience in the development and control of complex projects. He is capable of leading the very large and heterogeneous teams of internal and external collaborators, scientists, consultants and companies. Since 2004 the Westphalian-born architect, who before coming to Stuttgart lived in Northern Germany, the Netherlands and Finland, is in charge of the projects of ATELIER BRÜCKNER. He is a member of ICOM Germany and the Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg.
