Architekturgalerie am Weißenhof is showing "Staged Spaces – ATELIER BRÜCKNER"
The Architekturgalerie am Weißenhof, Stuttgart, is showing the exhibition entitled "Staged Spaces – ATELIER BRÜCKNER" from 10 May to 24 June. For the opening dutch scenographer Frank den Oudsten will give a speach at 7 p.m., May 9th at the lecture hall of the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Stuttgart.
The exhibition is intended to provide an insight into ATELIER BRÜCKNER as a creative laboratory. It is an exhibition about exhibiting. Visitors will experience the genesis of individual projects, from the first sketch of an idea to the actual built space. They are invited to observe and to participate. An extensive accompanying program opens up space for dialogue.
The main area is dedicated to current projects of the Atelier, modelled on the presentation of a working situation. Photos, sketches, plans, renderings, material samples and specimen structures are superimposed on each other to form a dense picture that sheds light on the process of creative work. The auxiliary area focuses on examples of completed projects, architecture and exhibitions, for national and international clients. They illustrate the Atelier's scenographic spectrum.
Established in Stuttgart in 1997, ATELIER BRÜCKNER creates staged settings for spaces. Content-related statements manifest themselves in the space. This results in scenographies for museums, trade fairs and large-scale events. Starting from the contents, ATELIER BRÜCKNER develops narrative spaces and spatial choreographies. The exhibition in the Architekturgalerie am Weißenhof is the first monographic exhibition on the methods of working and the projects of ATELIER BRÜCKNER.
