Roman ship wreck findings of the Pisa antique harbour
In the cellars of a historical brewery in Unna the 6-month long exhibition presented outstanding findings from the antique harbour of Pisa. In front of the building a »time carpet« leads the visitor on a journey past important historical events. Exhibits referring to themes like river navigation, life and death, production and trading, are lighted as if on stage, literally “illuminating” some of the dramatic circumstances of the shipwrecks. The suggestive submarine atmosphere also holds the visitor fascinated with its gentle sea noises.
