Following from the permanent exhibition ‘Oceania’, the idea of the island world is applied to the presentation of the Asian continent in the second interior courtyard of the Bremen Überseemuseum. A geographical structure shapes the design concept. Asia’s contrasts and diversities are represented by six various thematic categories which differ formally but together create a unified whole.
