The Fascination of Flying
In the skywalk of Frankfurt Airport, black and yellow ‘follow-me’ signs guide visitors into the aero-nautically shaped FIZ and invite them on a spontaneous flight to the visionary planning of Fraport AG. Integrated into the architecture of the Frankfurt Airport between the International Railway Station and Terminal 1, the Airport Forum is meant as a travel destination that invites the viewer on a flight to the future. Hovering in comfortable bubble chairs in between an interactive map and projected images of skies, the visitors of the FIZ can take an informational journey to the future of the expanded airport.
