The German broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk has produced a documentary about the new museum in Cairo. Filmmaker Sebastian Georgi and cameraman Jürgen Killenberger from BildManufaktur joined us throughout the entire journey – travelling with us to Cairo, spending time on site, and visiting us in our Atelier. The result is a rare behind-the-scenes look at what truly feels like a project of the century.

The film gives voice to the many people who helped bring this extraordinary Tutankhamun Gallery to life, from the first ideas to the final moments before opening. Thanks to everybody involved, what a journey!
