With yesterday’s groundbreaking in Tashkent, Uzbekistan has embarked on a new cultural chapter. Designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, the future National Museum of Uzbekistan will stand as a landmark celebrating the country’s rich heritage and openness to global exchange.

As Executive Architects and Exhibition Designers, ATELIER BRÜCKNER is responsible for both the architectural realisation and the exhibition design, creating a space where history meets contemporaneity, memory meets imagination.

Shirin Brückner had the honour of presenting the design to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We extend our gratitude to the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, its Chairperson Gayane Umerova, Tadao Ando, and all partners for their trust and collaboration on this important project.
