200 Years of State History – Starting with a chronology the visitor experiences 200 years of German South-West history from the European political land consolidation to the ‘Contemporary Museum.’ The theme park is arranged and presented according to regional resource characteristics like the “Culture Forest – Black Forest” or the economic factor of southwest Germany and the history of its migrants. At the end of this tour, the “Baden-Württemberg Lounge” invites viewers to a 20-minute media installation presenting a collage of Baden-Württemberg’s magnificent landscapes and its impressive cultural life in film, theatre, dance and opera.
