The ethnographic collection of Hungary is being newly presented: a permanent exhibition located in a 33.000 sqm new building as a part of the "Liget Budapest" Project in Városliget (City Park). Since 1872, the Museum of Ethnography has been collecting, preserving and exhibiting culturally significant objects, images, texts and sounds from the Carpathian Basin, Europe and around the world. The new permanent exhibition can yield from a stock of 250 000 objects.
