The Science Center “POLARIS – Climate Change Observatory“ is a multimedia, interactive museum where people are encouraged to consider their relationship with the environment. The building is designed as a modular, energy-efficient glass and steel structure, which is stationed at various places around the world. Concepts have been developed for Cape Town – the gateway to Antarctica – and Brussels. An iceberg, a globe and an ice core emboss the architecture and the exhibition circuit. They form a unit with high recognition value.
