POP ART. Power – Glamour – Transformation shows outstanding works of the 1960s. The focal point of the show consists of Dutch art works and the zeitgeist from which these works emerged. Documentary material and the exhibition design convey the spirit of the time. The latter adopts and re-interprets some of the stylistic features and design elements that were prevalent in the 1960s. Neon and dot pattern are utilised. Visitors reach the exhibition space via a "time tunnel" that visually and acoustically attunes them to the time of the 1960s. In the middle, the area is divided by three large kinetic walls, showing iconic representations. According to contemporary advertisement they appeal to the visitor.
