The Villa Berg, built in 1845-1853 as a summer residence for the kings of Württemberg, is being given a new lease of life. The Italian High Renaissance-style building, which was severely damaged in World War II and has housed a public broadcasting studio since the 1950s, is a listed building. Most recently, the building was vacant. The citizens of Stuttgart initiated a new concept for its use: The "Open House for Music and More". With a focus on the new use and based on the historical building stock, ATELIER BRÜCKNER develops the building project, which includes a new construction and extension of the villa.
