A Better Life, A Better World
ATELIER BRÜCKNER designs Panasonic's trade fair stand at IFA 2013
At the IFA 2013 fair in Berlin, Panasonic will be presenting itself over 6,000 square metres of exhibition space. The design for the bright, clearly laid-out stand comes from ATELIER BRÜCKNER in Stuttgart. It is based on a strict rectangular grid, delineating precisely demarcated product areas.
The scenographers present the Japanese company's wide range of products under a large, interconnecting rim that uses integrated LED-panels to express Panasonic's key messages and its new slogan "A Better Life, A Better World." Underneath, a clearly structured, urban-looking landscape is set out: the new products are shown along a main axis like monuments in public squares. They are accompanied by more intimate spaces at the sides, each of which autonomously focuses on a particular product of the company. To achieve a contrasting effect, the exhibits are placed on show against a bright background.
A 4k installation at the head of the main axis is in line with the primary focus of this year's IFA fair and acts as a large inviting signal attracting attention to the stand. 34 large-format screens in 4k quality form a monument that displays moving images on both sides and stands in front of a mirrored wall (media concept and production: TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE). Impressive film recordings reflecting the four seasons of the year entice visitors to immerse themselves in an all-encompassing audio-visual spectacle of nature. The brilliant images serve as a magnet for visitors, enticing them into the fascinating world of Panasonic.
