Hülshoff Castle, birthplace of the writer Annette von Droste-Hülshoff (1797-1848), will become the location of a new literature centre. The conceptual design of the area and exhibition is defined by modularity. Exhibition spaces are situated in the water castle and the Rüschhaus, the second residence of the author, which will be connected by a lyric trail. Additionally, scholarship houses and exhibition pavilions appear throughout the park. The main focus of the exhibition is on the life and work of the lyricist and different aspects of her character are staged in single, freestanding pavilions.
