How do we live tomorrow - a dream for everyone ?! On June 6, the ROMA Architecture Day will take place for the first time in two locations - the HfG Ulm and the Burgau location. The day is all about the transformation of architecture in connection with 100 years of Bauhaus history - housing then and now with its possibilities. In her lecture "Making Spaces Talk", Shirin Frangoul-Brückner will talk about interdisciplinary work at the interface between art, architecture, design and content, the Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, Korea's largest Car Culture Experience Park, and the renovation of the Wagenhallen in Stuttgart. The lecture starts at 10:10 am at the Ulm University of Design, the HfG Ulm.

Two and a half years, the main building of the Limes Museum was closed because of extensive renovation work. Now, the museum will reopen its gates for the visitors. On an extended 1500 qm exhibition area a completely redesigned permanent exhibition with over 1200 original finds will be presented. The visitor goes on an archaeological journey of discovery along the Limes and gets to know the life of the soldiers stationed here as well as the civilian population 1800 years ago.

We are very proud of being awarded with four "nails", the trophies of the ADC, the Art Director Club for Germany. Here, in addition to the award of a bronze nail for the "Arabian Journeys" especially "The Macallan Visitor Experience" has been particularly honoured. In addition to two golden awards, the Visitor Center in Craigellachie, Scotland was also awarded with the Grand Prix in the Department of Communication in Space.

In its 200th issue, Architectural Digest, the magazine for style, design, art and architecture, names the 200 "true influencers of the design world". Prof. Uwe. R. BrÜckner, creative director ATELIER BRÜCKNER, is also one of them as well as architect Bjarke Ingels, fashion designer and DJ Virgil Abloh, fashion designer Miuccia Prada, architect David Chipperfield, director Wes Anderson or multi-talent Karl Lagerfeld.

On May 11, the KTM Motohall opens in the heart of Mattighofen. In the new mecca of motorcycling, the interior of the ellipsoidal new building comes to life on a course with exhibits, installations and innovative video technology. The visitors can expect a conglomeration of exciting architecture and high exhibition art.

Prof. Eberhard Schlag, project director at ATELIER BRÜCKNER and representative director of ATELIER BRÜCKNER KOREA, LTD., speaks at the 15th edition of the lecture series "Bambu Talks" about "The power of narrative spaces". The event will take place on Tuesday, 14.05.2019 at 5 pm in the Bambu Theater of the Bambu Tower in Seoul and can also be watched via Live Stream.

Ten years after the grand opening, Prof. Uwe R. Brückner, creative director of ATELIER BRÜCKNER, takes the visitors of the lecture "10 Years German Watch Museum Glashütte" on a magical journey through time. Prof. Brückner gives insights into the development process of the permanent exhibition honored with the Red Dot Design Award and illustrates the staging of contents on site true to the credo "form follows content".

As part of the methodological week of the VW research college "Wissen | Ausstellen", Tanja Zöllner, senior designer and project manager at ATELIER BRÜCKNER, will explain on the example of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, on 09.04.2019 at 1 pm in the "Alte Mensa" of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in her lecture "Logic and Magic", "how to make objects talk".

On March 27, Prof. Uwe R. Brückner, Creative Director of ATELIER BRÜCKNER presents the new publication "Scenography 2 - Staging the Space" in the Never Stop Reading bookstore in Zurich. He is supported by the Swiss communications designer and author Ruedi Baur, who also wrote the foreword to this work.

On the 15th of March, the iF Design Award Night 2019 take place in the BMW Welt in Munich, where our The Macallan Visitor Experience is awarded with gold in the category Interior / Public Exhibition.

On Friday, 15.03.2019 at 5 pm, Cord-Hinrich Grote, art director at ATELIER BRÜCKNER, will speak on "The Names of the Spectacle" at the international design fair blickfang in the Liederhalle Stuttgart.

The Frame Award jury honored The Macallan Visitor Experience in Craigellachie, Scotland as the Exhibition of the Year. Prof. Uwe R. Brückner, creative director, successfully defended the project during the live judging on 20 February 2019.
