The jubelee exhibition "Es gibt nichts 'Ewiges'." (Nothing lasts 'forever') opens at the Richard Wagner Museum in Bayreuth. The occasion is the 100th birthday of Wieland Wagner (1917–1966), grandson of Richard Wagner and influential opera director.

The Zehntscheuer in Rottenburg presents the artists of the Kunstverein Wagenhalle e.V. in a group exhibition. ATELIER BRÜCKNER is also invited: we show concepts, models and visulisations of the restructuring plan for the ‘Wagenhallen'. That's where the artists will move back into their ateliers next year.

The PARLAMENTARIUM Strasbourg opens directly in the heart of the building of the European Parliament. The place, where members of parliament meet once a month, has long been established as a place of political education. In addition, longer opening hours and supplementary offers will make the Parliament more attractive. Mon through Sat: 9am–6pm for groups; Fri 2–6pm and Sat 9am–6pm for single visitors.

The MEG | Musée d'ethnographie de Genève wins the EMYA 2017. The European Museum of the Year Award is the most important award for a museum in Europe. It is presented every year by the European Museum Forum, under the auspices of the Council of Europe.

The exhibition presents a fascinating personality and the history of the Federal Republic of Germany.
